A. T. Anderson Memorial Scholarship
AISES' own scholarship program was established in 1983 in memory of A.T. Anderson (Mohawk), a chemical engineer who founded AISES with six other American Indian scientists. Scholarships are awarded to members of AISES who are American Indian/Alaskan Native college students pursuing academic programs in the sciences, engineering, medicine, natural resources, and math.
Open to undergraduate and graduate students who are at least 1/4 American
Indian or recognized as members of a tribe.

A.W. Bodine-Sunkist Memorial Scholarship
Renewable award for undergraduate study for applicants whose family derives most
of its income from the agriculture industry in Arizona or California.

AACN Educational Advancement Scholarship
Applicant must be a current American Association of Critical-Care Nurses member with
an R.N. license (or a National Student Nurse Association (NSNA) member for generic programs)
who is currently working in a critical care unit or has worked in one for at least one of the last

AACN Educational advancement scholarships
Nonrenewable scholarships for AACN members who are RNs currently enrolled in
undergraduate or graduate NLNAC-accredited programs. The undergraduate award
is for use in the junior or senior year. Minimum 3.0 GPA.

Abbie Sargent Memorial Scholarship
Annual awards for New Hampshire residents who are undergraduate or graduate students. Preference is given to students majoring in Agricultural related studies, including Home Economics, Agribusiness, Horticulture, Veterinary Medicine, and Animal Science. in any of the following areas: participation in a regional, state, or national professional

Alabama State Nurses' Educational
Loan Program
To loan money to registered nurses in Alabama
who are working to complete advanced nursing programs.
Number Awarded: Several each year.
Duration: The pay-back period begins on the date of graduation
or within no more than 4 years from the date of the loan,
whichever comes first. No repayment is required during
the first 6 months of the pay-back period. Any payments
made during this period are interest free. Beginning
with the seventh month, the interest is charged at 8 percent.
Alabama State Nursing Scholarship
This $600 scholarship is available only to Alabama residents who have been admitted to and are currently attending clinical nursing courses with a 2.5 grade point average or higher in the School of Nursing undergraduate program. A student receiving these funds must plan to work within the state of Alabama for at least one year immediately after graduation. If the student does not work within the state, these funds become a loan and must be repaid. The UAB Financial Aid Office administers this scholarship.
Albert Baker Fund
Open to earnest students of Christian Science who are members of the Mother Church,
academically sound, and attending (or have been accepted by) an accredited college,
university, or vocational school, or be enrolled in Christian Science nurses' training.
Recipients need an adult cosigner (spouses do not qualify) on their loans. Selection is
based upon application, interview, and financial need.

The Albert W. Dent Student Scholarship was established to:Provide financial aid and increase the
enrollment of minority students in healthcare management graduate programs. (Minority qualification is
based on the definition by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.) Encourage students—through
structured, formalized study—to obtain positions in middle and upper levels of healthcare management.
You are eligible to apply for an Albert W. Dent Student Scholarship if you meet all of the following
criteria: You are a Student Associate of the American College of Healthcare Executives and are in good
standing. You are a minority student who is enrolled for full-time study for the upcoming fall term, which
is your final year in a healthcare management graduate program. You can demonstrate financial need. You

Sixteen Nurse Education Scholarships are offered to nurses who seek further education toward LPN, RN, or BSN status. American Association of Nurse Anesthetists Foundation Scholarships
Basic qualifications for eligibility for an AANA Foundation Scholarships are: Currently enrolled (not
merely accepted) in an AANA accredited nurse anesthesia educational program. An AANA member.
Additional criteria may be specified by the individual scholarship donors Sponsors are sought each year to
grant scholarships. The deadline for sponsoring a scholarship is December 31 of each year.Applications are available after the first of the year. The deadline for student application to the AANA Foundation

Army ROTC Scholarship
Two-Year Army ROTC scholarships are offered on a competitive basis. Each scholarship pays for college tuition and required educational fees, and provides a specified amount for textbooks, supplies and equipment. Each scholarship also includes a stipend for every year the scholarship is in effect. Special consideration for an Army ROTC scholarship is given to students pursuing degrees in nursing. Scholarship Program
To provide forgivable loans to associate degree nursing
students in California who are demographically underrepresented,

Association of Operating Room Nurses Scholarship Program
Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses
AWHONN (formerly NAACOG) awards education fellowships to nurses. Applicants must be members who have been a full or associate member for at least one full year prior to the year of application, and who are pursuing a baccalaureate or master’s in nursing. The annual application deadline is April 5. AWHONN members may contact the national office each January for a current application (be sure to include your membership number).
